MSR Newsgroup

Founded in 1990 MSR Newsgroup started with just three shops in Nottingham, they were at Stapleford, Arnold and Stoney Street in Nottingham's Lace Market. Stapleford and Stoney Street have long since gone and the Arnold shop has moved to a bigger unit across the road from it's original position.

The company has steadily expanded over the years and now has branches in Lincolnshire and Derbyshire. It's newspaper delivery service has been at the core of the business for many years, but in recent years the company has moved into football memorabilia and merchandise with shops in the heart of Nottingham, Lincoln and Derby city centres key to this.

The company currently has seventeen stores which are listed on the branch locator on this website.

Radcliffe Road

The Radcliffe Road store is located just south of the centre of Nottingham, in amongst some of the country's top sports teams and venues, including Trent Bridge, Nottingham Forest and Nottingham Rugby. A perfect cost-effective alternative for pre/post-match drinks and snacks, this store is ideal for the sporting fan, with dedicated shelving full of sporting memorabilia.

Before even entering the store, the prominent Nottingham Forest memorabilia display catches your eye, with signed, framed shirts along with books and ceramics. Venturing into the shop,  the shelves are lined with Forest programmes from the last few seasons, with yet another selection of signed Forest novels, including Marcus Alton’s "Brian Clough: Fifty Defining Fixtures”, signed by John McGovern.

On Forest matchdays and cricket Test matches, the shop is bustling with sports fans, and store manager Laura agrees the selection of sports goods is the most attractive and unique part of her MSR store:

"The thousands and thousands of Nottingham Forest programmes that we stock, along with all the signed, framed photos; that’s what makes our store so special.”

Radcliffe Road stock a wide range of old Forest programmes, priced at just 20p each, or 6 for £1, and a variety of cup final programmes.

The shop in West Bridgford offer a newspaper and milk delivery service 7 days a week, as well as being a DPP parcel pick up/drop off point.
